Huge Recruiting News For The Georgia Bulldogs

It is hard to believe that one year removed from a 6-7 record the Dawgs have a chance to reel off a very impressive list of recruits for the 2012 class. The new Scout 300 list came out recently and the Bulldogs seem to have an A-list group of players considering signing with them. The Bulldogs have a chance to sign up to six 5-star recruits in the 2012 class alone.

The three that are already committed include..

Jordan Jenkins OLB/DE
John Theus OT
Keith Marshall RB

and the three others we could land are..

Avery Young OT
Josh Harvey-Clemons OLB/S/WR
Cordarelle Patterson WR

I feel very strongly that we could sign all six of them on February 1st. With the 2013 class as strong as it is we should feel very good about the direction of the program.

As Expected, Orson Charles Goes Pro

You are a Damn Good Dawg Orson, if you aren't taken in the top 15 someone is getting a steal. Congratulations on your high draft grade and make sure you show out in the Combine. We know you will represent your Dawg family well in the future.

UGA's Entire Defense Returns Minus Seniors Boykin and Tyson

The Georgia Bulldogs defense seems to have gotten together and made the decision that they should all come back for next year and give it the ol' college try. Aside from Seniors Brandon Boykin and DeAngelo Tyson, every player that was seriously considering going pro early decided to stay for their senior seasons. Here are some of yesterdays highlights.

While we are still awaiting word on Branden Smith, many believe he will stay, but if he does leave having Williams and Rambo back will make the transition very bearable.

Considering that the Bulldogs had the #3 defense in the nation this year, with so many players returning and plenty of superstar depth waiting in the wings, the 2012 defense could really be special. Or in the words of Shawn Williams...
